It's amazing the difference in comfort it makes when you can have your screen pointed at you at the exact angle you want.

It’s an adjustable wooden phone stand where contemporary design, and precise cutting is combined with traditional hand crafted natural material. The colour you see is the natural wood coming through a light satin finish.  A stand that allows you to read recipes, take a zoom meeting, or watch Netflix at the exact angle you need.

Maple

Made from trees that come from Ontario, Quebec, as well as here on Cape Breton Island. They are not stained in any way. There is quite a variety in the wood with maple, fine and wide grain, wavy and straight. No two pieces are alike. Some pieces have light brown patches of heartwood, meaning it comes from close to the core of the tree. Some, especially the pieces made from Cape Breton wood, show light brown or grey mineral streaks that run through the grain. This is caused by the tree’s position over a mineral deposit.

Ash

The same tough stuff they use to make Major League Baseball bats.  It comes from the forests of Cape Breton Island.  Some would say that Cape Breton Island Ash trees are even tougher than the ones from the mainland, as our trees tend to be stockier, and gnarlier, having to keep standing through north Atlantic winds with roots grasping onto whatever they can in our shallow rocky soil.  Ash has a variety of light and darker browns and a thick wood grain making each piece totally unique.

Cherry

These pieces are made from cherry from the forests of Ontario and Quebec. Cherry stands can vary greatly with the heartwood coming in rich red to reddish brown and will darken with age.  In contrast, the sapwood is creamy blonde. The wood has a straight-grain, a fine, uniform, satiny and smooth texture.
